What a week and a half eh! Another very enjoyable game, and great to see the rest of the team in and around the box this time. I can't make the last game of the season, so that's it for me.. I'm now worrying if it's the last I'll see of Goodwin, Bourne, etc in a Blades shirt, hopefully not. We have such a high turnover every summer, hopefully some stability now we're full time? I'll leave that conversation for the end of the season....
I'm a bit gutted that the season is almost over! Especially after how the team has played in the last few weeks (I wish the men's team only had three games left...).
I'm really hoping that there is an increased stability this time round. With the players having to go through so much off the field this season, I wonder if there'll be a motivation to at least give it one more season here to see what they can put together over a full campaign. Next manager hire will probably be key to that too, hopefully that doesn't drag on into the summer (the club have it listed as a vacancy at the moment, so obviously not a case of simply approaching someone and offering them the job).
